Our popular Cooking Demonstrations are held on alternating months at the Franklin Court Independent Living Community Room and the Bristol Housing Authority Community Room. Learn how to prepare delicious, healthy meals with a local chef.

The first 40 people receive a bag of ingredients to make at home! Check out some of the delicious and nutritious recipes we've presented so far.

A drop-in recovery center located in the Parish House of St. Michael's Church, 378 Hope Street, Bristol.

Open Mondays 1pm-4pm, Tuesdays 9am-12pm, Wednesdays 1pm-4pm, and Thursdays 5pm-8pm.

Offering services including:

  • All-Recovery Meetings

  • Recovery Training Series

  • Family Support Groups

  • Recovery Coaching

  • Social Events

  • Telephone Support

  • Wellness Activities (yoga classes, meditation groups and health screenings)

Too Good for Drugs (5th Grade)

This curriculum builds the framework for drug-fee living through a fun and interactive journey of setting reachable goals, making responsible decisions, and refusing negative peer pressure.

Project ALERT

Classroom-based substance abuse prevention program for 7th and 8th graders (Kickemuit Middle School) that is proven to reduce the experimental and continued use of drugs. Through a series of comprehensive lessons, Project ALERT motivates students against drug use, cultivates new non-use attitudes and beliefs, and equips teens with the skills and strategies they’ll use to resist drugs.
